Aprilia RSV4, reimagined the Rough Crafts way.

When a customer called Rough Crafts’ Winston Yeh and said he wanted an Aprilia RSV4 Factory turned into a street bike, Rough Crafts-style, Yeh’s first instinct was to say no.

“Too late,” the customer replied. “The bike’s already on its way to your shop.”

Challenge accepted.

BUILT TO DEFY EXPECTATION

The result is the Rough Crafts RoughSV4 — a sculpted mix of race-bred aggression and Yeh’s unmistakable design language. At its core, the RoughSV4 keeps the Aprilia’s 1099cc V4 powerhouse and Öhlins electronic suspension, but nearly everything else has been touched, tightened, or trimmed to perfection.

It’s a familiar formula for Yeh, who’s previously turned out incredible customs like the Indigo Flyer Ducati Monster 1200 S and the Urban Scrambler MV Agusta Dragster 800RR. Each one pushes the boundaries of what a modern performance bike can look and feel like — and the RoughSV4 carries that legacy forward.

CLEAN LINES, HIGH TECH

The carbon bodywork, executed by SFC Simon Fiber Craft, keeps the proportions compact and razor clean. The Rough Crafts RoughSV4 hides its high-tech heart beneath sleek side panels that mask the dense factory electronics, while the front mask conceals the steering damper and JetPrime kill switch in one seamless, stealthy package.

If you’ve seen Yeh’s Ducati Monster 937 custom, you’ll recognize his obsession with proportion — that uncanny ability to make every angle look intentional.

DETAIL-OBSESSED

An SC Project titanium exhaust snakes through the frame, ending in a crisp S1 silencer that looks right at home. BST Mamba TEK carbon wheels, Brembo GP4-MS brakes, and subtle gold detailing tie the whole thing together with understated brutality.

It’s still a high-tech superbike — stripped of excess and dripping with Rough Crafts DNA. The RSV4 has never looked this sharp.
