Period race parts, endurance pedigree, and a street kit included.

Blue bodywork, gold Campagnolo mags, long white megaphone. The look could have come straight from an endurance grid in the late 1970s. Hermann Koepf, publisher of BRUMMM motorcycle magazine out of Munich, is selling his Ducati 900 Endurance Bevel Racer. Built from a Darmah and upgraded with SS bits and period racing parts, it is a strong runner with papers, spares, and the kit to make it street legal if you would rather carve mountain passes than pit lanes.

Ducati 900 Endurance Bevel Racer Specs & Highlights

At its heart sits a 900cc bevel-drive L-twin in an SD frame, fed by a pair of 40 mm PHF Dell’Ortos. The bike wears endurance-style bodywork with an aluminum tank and rolls on Campagnolo magnesium wheels wrapped in Avon race tyres. A 2-into-1 megaphone exhaust gives it the bark you’d expect from a proper racer, while Brembo d’Oro calipers and 280 mm F1-spec front brakes handle the stopping duties. Marchal headlights, a Kröber rev counter, and carefully chosen SS upgrades round out the build. It runs strong and, more importantly, sounds incredible.

Street Kit & Extras

The bike comes with German papers and a full set of parts to return it to the road. Akront spoke wheels, chromed Conti exhausts, instruments, indicators, and a headlight are included, along with various spares and hardware. Everything you’d need to transform the bike back into a street-legal bevel is part of the package.

Condition & Vibe

This isn’t a static museum piece. It’s a rider’s bike with the right stance, the right parts, and the kind of history you can feel as soon as it fires up. In its current endurance trim, the Ducati 900 Endurance Bevel Racer has the presence and the soundtrack to light up any pit lane. Swap on the Contis and Akronts from the spares kit, and it becomes a road-ready bevel built to eat mountain passes. Either way, it delivers that raw, mechanical magic that makes bevel-drive Ducatis so addictive.
