Sure, you can get used to running your bike with no gauges. One could argue that doing so would make you more aware of every little sound and there are plenty of little tricks you can figure out to give your best guess to speed, how much gas is left in the tank and so on. That being said, having no gauges can be inconvenient, and…illegal. The idea of being able to use an iPhone to view current speed, navigate, and to see estimated fuel levels sounds pretty trick.
