Custom Super Singles Motorcycles Gone Wild

This little video is an oldie but goodie from Roland Sands Designs.

Roland Sands and Drake McElroy got together at a private track in a undisclosed location in Southern California to have a little track time fun with their Custom Super Singles Motorcycles. This footage was put together as a homage to the days of Cafe Racer Glory. Roland converted a Honda CR 500 and Drake Converted a Yamaha YZ 450.

Aprilia APRC technology

Aprilia Performance Ride Control Explained

What is Aprilia APRC anyway?

For the first time in two-wheeled history, motorcycle performance is no longer being measured merely in power and weight, but also in how closely a rider can come to exploiting the bike’s full potential. New technology is enabling riders to approach or even exceed the limits of motorcycles that are faster than ever before. That’s a reflection of what’s happening on race tracks. Max Biaggi didn’t win the SBK World Championship simply because his Aprilia RSV4 was the fastest bike on the track, but also because things like wheelie control, launch control and traction control enable him to ride it faster. Now, Aprilia Performance Ride Control is bringing those benefits to the road, for the first time increasing rider control at the very limits of adhesion.
This video will walk you through how APRC works and what it could do for you.
Aprilia USA commissioned Hell For Leather and Tangent Vector to produce this video.

Roland Sands Designs KTM 525 Café Racer

Roland Sands Design's KTM 525 Café Racer

Roland Sands has done it again. Taking a KTM supermoto and turning out a stunning café racer.

All the body work is hand-made aluminum, fabricated at the RSD compound. FMF did a trick titanium exhaust and Chris Wood at Airtrix delivered the Candy Orange Flake paint on the tail, tank and headlight mount. This one is street legal, ultra-light and has just enough horsepower to get you in trouble. Forks and shock have been lowered considerably. More on the build here.
