The Ducati Multistrada impresses

I woke up to the above image this morning sent to me by my buddy who works with Ducati.  Today Ducati dropped their first look on their 2013 Ducati Multistrada range and I have to admit I’m pretty impressed.  Ducati knows how to put the fast-paced ‘adventure’ in adventure bikes. The above shot is of the Pikes Peak model that celebrates Ducati’s latest win at the legendary hillclimb complete with Termignoni exhaust.  The new range topper, the Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo (below),

gains bigger panniers, a top box, extra LED lights and a bigger screen.

All the Multistradas get a ‘second generation’ Testastretta 11° engine – no details yet on exactly what that means. All the S models, including the Granturismo and the newly-embellished Pikes Peak model gain the new Skyhook suspension. I definitely want to swing a leg over one of these babies asap!
